High School Skill Builder: Costumes and Cosplay (9th-12th)

In this weeklong camp, students will explore the art of cosplay (costume play) and theatrical costume design. With the help of a local costuming expert and a local crafting expert, create new costumes and become different characters only you can imagine!

Summer Youth Production: Mamma Mia! (8th-12th)

Summer Youth Production Camp: Mamma Mia!
In this 8-week session, campers will create a show from start to finish and ultimately perform it for family and friends on the TCR Stage! Directed by Mic Evans.
June 16 through August 8. Evenings from 4:00 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. Monday through Friday. (There will be no camp June 30th -July 4th in observance of the 4th of July Holiday.)
Tech Rehearsals will be August 4-8 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Performances will be August 9 and 10 at 4:00 p.m. in the TCR Auditorium.
Programming Note: Every camper will receive a role in the production. All abilities and experience levels are welcome and encouraged to come play with us! Every student will recieve a minimum of 5 complimentary tickets for each performance - more may be allotted once cast size is finalized.

This week-long class will give high school students a taste of improv basics, both in longform and shortform improv. Taught by local improv artists, explore the building blocks of improvisation- from “Yes, And!” to active listening and more. Take the leap with us!

From piece selection, workshop time and performance, we'll explore every step it takes to master the art of the monologue and virtual auditions. This class is a perfect training tool to prepare high school students for college audition season and beyond!
