TCR’s Summer Jr. Youth Production:  The Wizard of Oz. (2nd-7th Grade)

Starting June 19th through August 4th- 9AM-12PM. Camp sessions run Monday through Friday. (There will be no camps July 3-7 in observance of the 4th of July Holiday.)

From Playscripts, Inc.: When Dorothy drops into the Land of Oz, only one thing is certain: she's got to find a way back to Kansas. A funny and fast-paced journey down the yellow brick road ensues, as Dorothy and her new friends travel to the fabled Emerald City to meet the Great Oz. When Oz demands a steep price for sending her home, a perilous new adventure begins. Full of ensemble possibilities, this imaginative adaptation captures the heart of L. Frank Baum's classic tale.

Programming Note: Every student who signs up for this class will receive a role in our production. All abilities and experience levels are welcome and encouraged to come play with us!

When Elle's boyfriend, Warner, dumps her and heads to Harvard, claiming she's not "serious" enough, Elle takes matters into her own hands, crafting a showy song-and-dance personal essay and charming her way into law school. Befriending classmate, Emmett, and spunky hairdresser, Paulette, along the way, Elle finds that books and looks aren't mutually exclusive.  As Elle begins outsmarting her peers, she realizes that law may be her natural calling after all.
